Each morning began with breakfast that was well-prepared and generously portioned, fueling us for the day. One evening, we ventured to the dining room, where we indulged in an exquisite three-course meal. The food was thoughtfully presented, showcasing local ingredients. While the £45 price tag felt a bit steep, the flavors and quality made it worthwhile. We luxuriated in the lodge-style spa, with views overlooking the lake, providing a tranquil backdrop for relaxation. Amidst the stunning grounds—perfect for leisurely strolls—we often retreated to the lounge. The sumptuous sofas enticed us to savor afternoon tea, overlooking the statue of Cephissus, which created a picturesque scene that felt quintessentially British. It was refreshing and simply enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it to fellow food enthusiasts.
